Email Innovations Infinium Cabling June 2002: CRASH Networks partners with Emergent-UK and Infinium Ltd. 1 June 2002 – London, UK – In a move to add services in the telecoms and infrastrucutre field, CRASH Networks Ltd has partnered with Emergent Management UK, and Infinium Ltd. Emergent has been providing voice-based design and consulting services since 1988. Under it’s original name of RIS Consulting it has been steered by Roger Summers, its founder, for over 10 years before the name change to Emergent in 1998. “Our experience is working with a lot of US clients throughout Europe”. Emergent pioneered relationships with manufacturers to bring their offerings up to the level demanded by our US clients. Roger Summers says…”We were the first to work with AT&T GBCS in the early ‘90s [now Avaya via Lucent GBCS] and really promote their solutions which we thought best-in-class against a lot of European industry opposition. That typifies our approach: we help define a clear business remit with the client and have no prejudices as far as recommending the most cost-effective solution. You just can never afford to stay still in this market and that goes for constantly reviewing offerings from manufacturers and service providers”. Infinium grew from providing electrical and mechanical infrastructure to small computer resellers. Infinium started just 4 years ago but is run by people with years of industry experience both delivering solutions in the UK and mainland Europe. Now, it can provide a complete computer room: the whole electronic infrastructure including fibre and copper LANs. “We aim to provide a turn-key solution whenever the client needs it. Working with the likes of Emergent we can rely on getting a professional, engineering-led and practical design which we can respond to quickly and cost-effectively”. Infinium is underpinned by the management’s appreciation of how clients need to be helped to a clearly defined workable solution and carry it out on time and to budget. |
